Tehran- Iran’s agricultural products would be increased by 9 million tons with launching different agricultural projects, said Iranian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Hassan Rokni.

IFIF Public Relations- “One of the main plans of the Ministry of Agriculture is launching huge projects across Iran which will lead to increasing agricultural products by 9 million tons.”

He said that one of the large plans is being launched in southern Iran which includes cultivation of 55.000 hectares.

Rokni further added that Iran has produced 780.000 tons of red meat last year and is trying to raise the amount to over 800.000 by the end of the calendar year (which ends on March 21, 2016).

Iran is after increasing chicken and eggs exports to other countries and determining Russia as a goal, he continued./s
